Rocky GSD

Rocky is a 7 year old GSD that came to us with reactivity issues towards other animals, golf carts and selective people. His owner was a woman that had previous experience with his breed but was overwhelmed with his reactivity and strength. She came to us with concerns that she or someone else would potentially get hurt whenever he would lunge or bark at triggers. We began his rehabilitation by setting fundamental boundaries and predictable structure. We started by teaching him how to respond to commands on leash as well as how to walk calmly and follow direction. Eventually after multiple private lessons and day training session he was able to join our group obedience/socialization classes. This allow our client to proof the work we had done together on one on one session with multiple distractions, not only helping to build Rocky's neutrality but also build her confidence with handling him.
